At the first Passive House Installation Competition in China, SIGA was awarded the Airtightness Gold Supplier Award.

This competition is an event organised by BCEE (Beijing Research and Development Center of Building Energy Efficiency). BCEE is a competence centre in the field of energy-efficient building for a large Beijing real estate developer.

The competition is about installing windows with airtightness solutions. In total, there were six teams from the window industry. Each team used their own brand of windows, and four of them used SIGA products as airtightness solutions. Sayyas (one of the largest window manufacturers in China) is the main sponsor of this competition and also won the competition.

This is the first time such a competition has taken place. The award was presented by the Deputy Secretary General of China Building Energy Conservation Association, Mr. Xiwei Yang.

Raising awareness

The aim of this event is to educate more people about air tightness solutions. BCEE has many relationships in the Passive House industry in China and regularly organises trainings in this field.
